Did I use AI to generate music for an anti-AI song?

Well, yes and no.

I have no issues with AI, in fact I'm excited about it, and can 100% see the benefits.

My concern is this: Greed. Rampant pre-emptive cost cutting by eliminating thousands of jobs, displacing and ruining the lives of families.

"AI isn't supposed to replace, it's supposed to enhance!"

Yeah, and I got a bridge over a river in the Sahara I'd like to sell you.

Sure, that might be it's intention. That may be the developers intention. Hell, that might be your intention. But it's not everyone's. There are those out there who are chomping at the bit to cut overhead and send thousands to the street.

"But that's progress!" some might protest. Okay, cool.
"The same thing happened when they invented refrigerators! The ice man was out of a job!" Swell, buddy.
"You're just a <political slur here>." Not really, bro.

There are companies who will use AI to enhance their staff through increasing automation and efficiencies, improving the company and the employees. There are other companies that will jump at the chance to cut costs and the employees be damned. The only question is, which company are you a part of?
